Victoria Thompson is a board certified LCMHC from Snow Hill, NC, who works with all adults (18+) and provides care for patients who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and conflicts.
Victoria has extensive experience with clinical counseling and has been a board certified LCMHC for 3 years. Victoria’s treatment approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy. Victoria studied at East Carolina University where she obtained a master’s in science in counselor education. She also worked for Guilford County Schools for 3 years and Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center where she established their foundation of counseling working with children, adults, and their families, that has been a crucial part of her practice and her patients' success and progress. Victoria’s main goals for her patient include overcoming challenges and remaining afloat amid chaos.
She believes that in her practice, her patients can be resilient and overcome challenges within life from personal, work, and family.  Victoria has a unique view and experience that will result in tools and skills to preserve. Victoria has excelled in her practice because she walks alongside clients holding them accountable for creating a better life for themselves mentally and emotionally.
Victoria is an avid lifelong learner and enjoys serving individuals through knowledge and therapeutic support.  She is inspired by her own life story and want that same inspiration to translate to her patients' treatment.
